Try Digital Atlas is an independent directory for people who have to choose an AI tool and live with the consequences. No affiliate-driven rankings, no rewritten press releases.
How we test
Every tool is used on real work for at least a week before it is listed. We run the same task set through each product in a category — drafting, refactoring, generating, summarising — and note where output quality, latency or pricing breaks down. Vendor demos are never the basis for a listing.
How ratings work
The score out of five blends our editorial assessment with moderated user reviews. Editorial weight covers output quality, pricing transparency, platform coverage, API maturity and release cadence. User reviews shift the score as volume grows, which is why the rating count is always shown.
Editorial independence
Rankings and filters are never for sale. A small number of listings are sponsored and always carry a Sponsored label. Sponsorship never changes a score, a review, or a tool's position in search results, and we remove sponsors whose products stop meeting the bar.
Corrections and submissions
Pricing and features change constantly. If something on the site is out of date, or you want a tool considered for inclusion, send it through the contact page — submissions are free and go through the same testing as everything else.
